Coutre Commits to NCAA Div III’s Northland College Lumberjacks for 2019-2020 Season

Another post-secondary commitment for YOUR Hometown Dryden GM Ice Dogs!

Our latest college-bound Dog is Victoria,  BC sniper Cameron Coutre. “Coots” racked up 30 goals in 53 games this season, 9 of which were on the powerplay. He also assisted 35 times, good enough for a big 65 points in the regular season.

Here’s what he had to say looking back on this season in D-Town: “I had an awesome time living in Dryden. Met so many amazing people throughout the organization and gained 19 new brothers. Thank you to everyone for an awesome season and a special thanks to Mike, Shawna, Anita and Dave for always taking such good care of me and my billet brother Tyler. Thanks to my family and friends here in Victoria for supporting me while I was away and continuing to do so this off season. Looking forward to starting my next chapter of hockey and life with my commitment to Northland College in the NCAA for the next four years of my life.”

Cameron Coutre will start his college career in Ashland, WI with the Northland College Lumberjacks – NCAA division III. Sharpen those axes, boys! #onceadogalwaysadog
