Dryden once again lone SIJHL representative in CJHL’s Top 20 rankings

THUNDER BAY, Ont. – Rolling right along the Dryden GM Ice Dogs of the Superior International Junior Hockey League continues to garner national attention within the Canadian Junior Hockey League.

The SIJHL-leading GM Ice Dogs were slotted 11th in the latest weekly Top 20 rankings amongst the 132 clubs that comprise the CJHL.

Dryden has run away with the SIJHL’s regular season title boasting a franchise-record 40 wins.

They have won seven straight contests and sit 40-7-4-0 overall in the standings and will be the No. 1 seed in the upcoming Bill Salonen Cup playoffs.

There was no change this week among the top five teams in the CJHL rankings with the Brooks Bandits (AJHL), Georgetown Raiders (OJHL), Les Cobras de Terrebonne (LHJAAAQ), Steinbach Pistons (MJHL) and Battlefords North Stars (SJHL) tabbed first through fifth respectively.
