The Superior International Junior Hockey League (SIJHL) has named it Three Stars for week 3 of regular season play:

FIRST STAR ⭐️

PAYTON HU, DRYDEN GM ICE DOGS
GP: 2 ⋅ G: 5 ⋅ A: 4 ⋅ PTS: 9
The Surrey, B.C. native was all over the scoresheet this weekend amassing 9 points over two games. Not only did Hu litter the scoresheet, but he did so with some flair, recording not one but two highlight reel goals. SECOND STAR ⭐️⭐️

EMMANUEL NKOMBOU, DRYDEN GM ICE DOGS
GP: 2 ⋅ G: 3 ⋅ A: 5 ⋅ PTS: 8
After a 3 assist night on Friday, Nkombou (Montréal, QC) delivered a dominate performance on Saturday night netting a hat trick and adding two assists in Dryden’s big win over Ironwood.

THIRD STAR ⭐️⭐️⭐️

CARSON DEVINE, DRYDEN GM ICE DOGS
GP: 2 ⋅ G: 3 ⋅ A: 4 ⋅ PTS: 7
Devine was ready to play Friday night as he scored a hat trick and an assist in the first period of a 9-3 win. His contributions continued on Saturday with 3 assists. The Calgary, Alta. native finishes the opening month of the season with 13 points in 6 games.
